We are two Rollie Pollies who have lived in Japan and love to travel and explore. We've been married for 35 years and have two amazing children that we thought if we raised them the same, then they would turn out the same.
Joke's on us!!!!!!
One is a teacher (like us) and the other is exploring his musical path. We want to share our new experience moving to Pennsylvania.

Rachel is an amazing young woman who was born in Japan and decided to follow in our footsteps into the teaching field. She has traveled the world and worked with kids in Italy, Cambodia, Hong Kong, and Japan. We are so proud of her!
Alex
(Kooze)
Alex was also born in Japan and started his music/video/production career. He currently lives in Los Angeles while producing and making music. We are looking forward to what he will create and we are so proud of him too!
When we first went to Japan we decided to start a blog to let friends and family know how we were doing. We are updating our blog and decided to keep this active which shows our experience while living in Japan before moving back to the U.S.
T Minus 3 Days - We ended school yesterday and found out that the moving company is coming tomorrow morning at 8 AM! Uhhh...Can't wait for tomorrow!

T Minus 2 Days - They came, they packed up the rest of our stuff, and they did an AMAZING job! Had to cancel TV service, Wifi, and return equipment. We finally get to rest.

WAIT WHAT!?! The moving company gave us a hotel for the night since we accommodated them by moving early. There was a dog incessantly barking across the hall so we were in contact with the hotel. They ended up upgrading us to a top floor suite!

T Minus 1 Day - Did our walk through of our rental today and all is good. Had sushi for lunch with Alex and took him to the airport. Resting up for journey tomorrow.
Today was such an emotional day for us! We are not only leaving teaching, but we are leaving an amazing school and a loving community who has showered us with love since the day we both started. The Lord called Joanna to LACS 4 years ago and called me 2 years ago. It has been one of the greatest experiences of our lives. We appreciate all of the photos that our parents have sent us and we would love to showcase them here, however, we want to be respectful to those who don't want to have their pictures public. If you would like to have your picture as part of our page (which we would love,) then please send a picture to our poligonpolichan@gmail.com email and we would love to include it. It doesn't only have to be from today, but anytime we've been together. We truly love and appreciate all of you!
